2019.11.30 – The Times They Are A-Changin’
It’s once again been quite a while since I’ve had much to say. I know I keep promising that I will get more consistent with this stuff but at this point, perhaps I should just stop making promises I can’t keep!
Not a whole lot is new – still got my hands full with the Gravelbourg Community Music Centre. Been playing a bit with Smokes Let’s Go – that album is creeping up on completion, but like all good things it is taking its sweet time. Plus you can catch me on keys with Scott Heatcoat & His Polka Friends for a few upcoming dates including a full night of party music on December 28th at the College Matthieu in Gravelbourg.
As for Johnnie Ninety-Nine & Co. not too much has been going on. That said, I am coming out of the woodwork with a handful of my own tunes at the Cobra Lounge while down here in Nashville with my buddy Nolan Bouvier from Toronto. We are scoping out the scene and seeing what the cool kids are up to these days so if you’re in the area, let us know, cool kid. Also be sure to check out Mr. Bouvier’s smokin’ electronic pop band Fried Dough. Japan loves them, Poland loves them, and you will love them. Nobody doesn’t love fried dough…
